There is a terrorist in Kashmir named Umar Farooq that Veera Raghavan, an Indian RAW agent, is supposed to find and bring back to prison. Because of what he did, a civilian child is injured and killed by a missile that he fired to stop Farooq from getting away. Veera quits RAW after the event. At the end of 11 months, Veera is still struggling to come to terms with the death of her child and has PTSD. It was at a wedding that he met Preethi. They fell in love. Preethi wants him to work for her security company, Dominic & Soldiers. It also turns out that a big terrorist event is going to happen in the city of Chennai. She and Preethi go to the East Coast mall, which is their last client. Veera also meets with her boss there. Veera notices a lot of suspicious things going on in the mall and thinks someone else has taken over. People dressed up as Santa Claus open fire and take over a mall, which proves him right. Veera, Preethi, and a few other people are safe in an unopened restaurant.

The government, led by Althaf Hussain, an old friend of Veera, is trying to talk with the terrorists, who want Umar Farooq to be freed. It turns out that Veera is also stuck in the mall, and Althaf can get in touch with him. Althaf tries to get Veera to help them out. As soon as Veera realizes that the terrorists are here for Umar Farooq, he starts to believe them. he kills one of the terrorists, captures another one alive, and brings him to the hideout where the terrorists are living. He gets into the terrorists and kills a few of them. People who work for the Home Minister, who is in the same league as the terrorists, want to stage the execution of his wife and daughter, both of whom are in the mall at the same time. They do this on live TV. The government agrees to let Farooq go because of this. Veera is so angry that he kidnaps the Home Minister's wife and daughter and pretends to be a Bangladeshi militant in order to confuse the terrorists. If Farooq is released, he threatens to kill them.

Leader of the terrorists, Umar Saif, thinks he's going to lose and looks like he's giving up, only to slip into the crowd and pretend to be a hostage. This is what happened. Soon, he realizes that Veera isn't who she says she is. He tells him and his aides to give up, and he and all of them are caught. When Veera gets help from the Home Minister's daughter, he manages to get away. He kills everyone else, but he also makes sure the hostages get to safety. In this case, the Home Minister was arrested because he worked with the terrorists.

In the middle of all the talks, Umar Farooq was freed. On the other side of the border in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Veera comes across him and captures him. Then, after surviving a long air chase with the Pakistan Air Force, she brings him back to India to be arrested. In a post-credits scene, Veera, Preethi, and the rest of his friends celebrate their time in Goa.
